Transcorp Credit Union is proud to highlight its ongoing commitment to education and youth development, having invested over $600,000 in the past decade in supporting the academic journeys of its members—from primary school to tertiary education.

Transcorp Credit Union invests over $600,000.00 in Youth members’ education.

Through its Education Grant Programme, spearheaded by the Education Committee, Transcorp ensures that students benefit from meaningful assistance at every stage:

  • SEA Grant – Students entering secondary school receive $2,000 per year for 5 years, along with a laptop and or tablet and stationery packages granted to the 1st & 2nd place, equipping them for success.

  • CSEC / CAPE Grant – At the 6th form level, students receive $2,000 per year to assist with advanced studies.

  • Tertiary Education Grant – Members pursuing a university degree can access $5,000 per year for 3 years, easing the financial strain of higher education.

In total, one student can access over $30,000 in educational support throughout their journey with Transcorp.

Beyond financial assistance, Transcorp provides opportunities for students who have benefited from these grants to participate in holiday internships, giving them valuable workplace exposure and professional experience.
