Empowering Young Minds: Transcorp Credit Union’s SEA Award
At Transcorp Credit Union, we are committed to being the wind beneath the wings of our young members, providing them with the support they need to soar to new heights in their educational journey. We take great pride in assisting our youth by offering the SEA Award, a program designed to ease the financial burden of secondary school expenses.
This award is our way of recognizing and celebrating the hard work and dedication of our young members. This year, we are delighted to present the 1st place winner with a laptop, the 2nd place winner with a tablet and the 3rd place winner with a financial contribution to their shares and deposit. We trust that these devices and monetary contribution will undoubtedly aid them as they continue to excel in their studies.
Eligibility Criteria for the SEA Award
To qualify for the SEA Award, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a member of Transcorp Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited for at least one (1) year, in accordance with our Education Policy.
- The parent or guardian must be in compliance and in good financial standing with the credit union.
- All applicants must have contributed a minimum of $75.00 per month to their accounts for at least 10 months prior to the SEA examination date.
Award Coverage
The SEA Award provides financial assistance over four (4) years, with the 1st and 2nd place recipients receiving Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) per year. In addition to this monetary support, the 1st place winner is awarded a laptop, while the 2nd place winner receives a tablet. These prizes are not only rewards for their achievement but also valuable tools that will support their learning as they embark on the next chapter of their educational journey.
