Brief History
HOW WE STARTED
The Credit Union started on the compound of (P.T.S.C.) The Public Service Transport Service Corporation in July 1966. This was the culmination of money lenders facilitating PTSC workers. And so the idea was born. We were officially registered on July 7th 1969.
HOW WE EVOLVED
Our original name was PTSC Credit Union Co-operative Society, until the board of directors in their wisdom decided to open the membership beyond PTSC. So in 1999, the name was changed to Transcorp Credit Union Co-operative Society, and membership was opened to the general public.
CHRISTMAS VOUCHER LOAN
Lending can also be facilitated for Christmas grocery expenses, limits of which will be determined by the Board of Directors. A coupon voucher will be issued for redemption at pre-determined designated supermarkets.
